Fredrick Gordon is the Department Chair and MPA Director for the Department of Politics, Philosophy Administration at Columbus State University in Georgia. He holds his doctorate from the University of Southern California in Political Science and a Masters in Public and International Affairs with a specialization in International Political Economy from the University of Pittsburgh. He is the author of Freshwater Resources and Interstate Cooperation (SUNY 2008) and International Environmental Justice Competing Claims and Perspectives 2012). He is a frequent political commentator and columnist for the local television networks and Ledger Enquirer in Columbus, Georgia. His most recent article An End to the ACF Conflict? will appear in Critical Issues in Justice and Politics, and addresses water sharing solutions for the Chattahoochee River in Georgia. He also serves on the board member for the River Valley Regional Commission and currently interviewing for Freedom Riders living in west Georgia with plans to develop the interviews into a book.
